LaJuana D. Caldwell was raised in a Christian home. She attended the Lutheran church with her family and was confirmed in 1971. She was active in youth ministry at her church and appeared several times on a local Lutheran television broadcast featuring Christian youth. In November 1976 she attended a Praise The Lord Rally sponsored by TBN. It was a divine appointment that would forever change her life and walk with the Lord.

The Lord visited her personally that day, healing her body of cysts in her breast and filling her with His Holy Spirit. Out of thousands attending this great meeting, the Lord specifically identified her in that crowd to touch and heal! Shaking under the power of His mighty hand and feeling warmth all over her body, she was forever changed. This divine encounter lasted for more than 2 hours after the meeting. Her testimony sparked a revival in her neighborhood and among her members of her family..

In 1982, after responding to a powerful message and call to service at her local church, LaJuana went to the alter and accepted a call to ministry. In 1984, she traveled throughout the United States and Europe as a Reach Out Singer (Outreach for Christ International). The tour group ministered and saw many miracles even with the group itself.

LaJuana went on to pursue ordination and attended and graduated from the National Bible Institute, in Fort Washington, Maryland. She was licensed with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) in 1989. In 1992, she received her Master’s Degree in Theology from the International Seminary in Plymouth, Florida.
In 2006, she was ordained with the Church of God. She currently serves as Senior Pastor at the Viers Mill Community Church of God in Silver Spring, Maryland. Her ministry includes singing, teaching, and preaching. She completed her debut CD entitled “Songs From the Wilderness“. She has written articles from many publications including the Women of Color Study Bible, Nia Publishing.
